"I Knew You Were Trouble" singer Taylor Swift was hit with lawsuit from Blue Sphere, Inc., the company whose clothing line Lucky 13 came from. According to TheWrap, Taylor Swift's lawsuit deals with copyright infringement and it claims that the young singer's damage to the clothing line started as early as March 2012, when she started to sell clothing that bears the phrase "Lucky 13" without permission from the clothing store. Taylor Swift's lawsuit was filed in a federal court in California on Tuesday.
Taylor Swift's lawsuit even claims that the singer has a partnership deal with American Greetings Corporation to market the Lucky 13 greeting card contests to her fans.
As Taylor Swift's lawsuit claimed trademark infringement and dilution as well as unfair competition, the company seeks for her profits and as well as Lucky 13's lost profits and damages. The singer's representative has to comment yet about the lawsuit issue.
