Carrie Underwood and husband Mike Fisher looked picture-perfect at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards.

Despite their appearance together at the awards ceremony, rumors that Underwood is reportedly trying to get pregnant to save her marriage to her athlete husband continues.

This is the fourth time in recent months that rumors of Carrie Underwood trying to get pregnant just to appease Mike Fisher has surfaced, according to IBTimes.

"She realizes that a baby is the only thing that can save their marriage," a source told gossip site ShowBizSpy.com.

The "Good Girl" singer and her retired NHL player beau have been fighting over their pregnancy plans after the "American Idol" star revealed that she may have several acting opportunities come her way, reported the website.

After the country star explained these acting opportunities, Underwood reportedly came to understand that Fisher was "ready to throw in the towel on their relationship."

"Mike blew a casket. He told Carrie that she needed to choose between her career and her marriage. Mike has never held her feet to the fire like that before," said an insider.

The couple is reportedly very serious about becoming parents, even considering adoption.

"Mike doesn't care how a baby comes to them. All he cares about is that they become parents soon," the source added.

The alleged rumors of Carrie Underwood's plans to get pregnant to save her marriage began when the singer agreed to take on the lead role in NBC's live performance of "The Sound of Music," according to Star Magazine.

Rumors progressed in March 2014 when Mike Fisher and his wife couldn't agree on the right time to start a family, causing him to give the singer an ultimatum.

When the rumors of their troubled relationship began, Underwood and Fisher were reportedly "barely speaking" to each other.
