"White Collar's" final season is set to start filming in June as the USA Network show's sixth season finally offered some information on its progress through a tweet by the show's writer, Joe Henderson.
"Working late on the script for White Collar's season 6 premiere. A glass of wine in, and Mozzie's voice is suddenly much clearer to me," Henderson posted on Twitter referring to the shown and one of it's characters.
Filming of "White Collar" final season is scheduled to start in June 4 and will only contain six episodes, which are expected to provide closure on the characters' storylines and patch up loose plot points.
"White Collar" final season is expected to go on-air in winter next year, and would probably be finished "not until winter of next year ... January, February may be," said Matt Bomer, who plays Neal Caffrey, during an interview on OutQ Frank Show.
Speaking of Bomer, the "Magic Mike" star shared his experiences and personal life story in connection to HBO's adaptation of Larry Kramer's 1985 play "The Normal Heart" where he plays the character of Felix Turner, a man dying of AIDS.
The actor said that watching the play on-screen together with a group of people made it more memorable.
"Most importantly, getting to watch the standing ovation for Larry Kramer and to see him taking in a moment that was 30 years in the making was something I'll never forget. For me, that was just one of those really rarified experiences that you're very lucky if you get maybe once in a career as an artist," Bomer said in an interview with the Daily Beast.
When asked how his coming out as gay affected his career, he stated that "if you start to think too much about things that are completely out of control, it will just drive you crazy as an actor. I think I've been profoundly blessed, so I try not to really think about it. I try to just live my life and do my work and the rest will just fall into place, as it may. As it will."
"The Normal Heart" will be shown on HBO on May 25.
