World record fastest texter has already been recognized and acknowledged by Guinness, especially as the modern generation has become the texting generation. This feat may not be as well-applauded as other accomplishments, but this has a lot to say for the field of technology and innovation. Just this week, a new record-holder has been proclaimed, in the person of Marcel Fernandes Filho, a teenager who hails from Brazil. Definitely, tech geeks would be more interested on the tech that Filho used to grab the world record fastest texter.

For his chance at the world record, Filho had to text the following phrase, "The razor-toothed piranhas of the genera Serrasalmus and Pygocentrus are the most ferocious freshwater fish in the world. In reality, they seldom attack a human." Filho completed this task in 18.19 seconds, thus, successfully beating the previous record by just less than one second.

How did he do it? With his Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone and a third-party keyboard app named Fleksy.

In a blog post, a representative from the Fleksy team shared, "Ever since we found out about the Guinness World Record for texting on a smartphone, we knew we had to break it."

Tech geeks may have already seen this feat coming for Fleksy. Fleksy has been widely complemented for its smart predictive text feature. Thus, Fleksy makes it easy for anybody to type messages fast while ensuring their accuracy.

To keep the momentum, Fleksy also announced the new innovations and developments it could offer. "Not only is Fleksy now the fastest keyboard, it's also the most accurate," the team said. The group is also encouraging interested users to take advantage of a two-week trial for a sneak peek on what "the best Fleksy yet" has in store for them. Fleksy even promised exciting prizes for anyone who could beat Filho as the world record fastest texter through the new and improved app.
