2NE1 Dara to leave the group? If the rumors are to be believed then the group may break up soon.
2NE1 recently had a concert in the Philippines and Dara met with her actor friends from a local TV network and if the rumors are true then they gave her a contract that would give her a bunch of movie deals and TV shows but the catch is, she has to stay in the Philippines and that would mean that she has 2NE1.
However, it should be noted that these are just rumors but should they prove to be true, Dara would still have the final say on the issue and she could just easily decline the offer.
If there is one thing that should be noted is that their recent concert in the Philippines was a smash hit.
The arena was packed with close to 9,000 fans who had waited three years to see Dara, CL, Bom and Minzy perform again in the country for the Philippine leg of their "All Or Nothing" World Tour.
Dara, who is still known to local fans as Sandara, was supported by her local celebrity friends including Vice Ganda, Sam Milby, Joross Gamboa, Jhong Hilario, Jason Abalos and Ryan Bang, who all came to watch the concert.
Wearing red sequined costumes, 2NE1 opened the concert with "Crush," a song written by CL that is included in their new album with the same name.
Their debut single "Fire" was up next, followed by "Clap Your Hands." The girls hopped on a giant vehicle and wielded laser guns for "Pretty Boy," a song from their 2009 self-titled debut album. They ended their opening set with "Don't Stop The Music."
For their chart-topping and emotional ballad "Missing You," the girls wore white dresses, with Sandara sporting a black wide brim hat and CL wearing a fur coat. They followed it up with "If I Were You," an unplugged version of "Come Back Home" and "Ugly."
After the concert, Minzy tweeted, "Thank you so much! Philippines Blackjacks. Yesterday was so amazing! When we do another tour, I would love to come back here! I'll miss you guys."
Dara posted, "Sobrang happy talaga ako ngayon! Grabe! Boom panes talaga!!! And syempre sa lahat ng blackjacks na laging nandyan para samin! Mahal namin kayo!"
