Metro: Redux Release Date: 4A Games and Deep Silver have officially announced Metro Redux. Metro Redux features fully re-mastered and improved versions of both METRO 2033 and METRO: LAST LIGHT, creating the most compelling Metro experience ever.
Metro: Redux has been officially confirmed for the PS4 and Xbox One. The game is set to release this summer on both platforms. It will run at 1080p resolution on the PS4 and at 60 frames per second, as confirmed on the official PS Blog.
"I could say how excited we are to be showing you this trailer, but I have an idea of what you really want to know... so let's just cut to the chase. Metro Redux runs at 1080p, 60FPS on PlayStation 4," said studio rep of 4A Games on the official PS Blog.
"We had to sneak the PS4 development kits into Kiev to make it happen, but we wholeheartedly think it was worth it... Metro Redux includes Metro 2033 (for the first time ever on a PlayStation platfrom) and Metro: Last Light, remastered for PlayStation 4, with all the gameplay, AI, gunplay, and graphical improvements we added in Last Light now applied to both games."

This is a compilation of two games, that will cost gamers $50 for both, or they can purchase the one they only want for $24.99 without having to buy the full release.
Metro: Redux is also confirmed for the Xbox One and will have the same frame rate as the PS4 version, but the resolution for Xbox One hasn't been finalized yet, as the developers are still working on optimizing the game(Update: It has been confirmed that Xbox One version will run at 900p). Rest assured, it should be close to the PS4 version in term of overall graphics.
