Jessica Alba is hotter than ever on the cover of Entertainment Weekly as she promotes "Sin City: A Dame To Kill For," which is set to be released on August 22, 2014.

The mother of two opened up about her sexuality for her interview with the magazine.

The "Sin City: A Dame To Kill For" actress revealed that the cowgirl-inspired stripper Nancy Callahan is simply a character she plays, according to People.

"Sex is absolutely what helps sell this movie, which is fine with me. I'm also playing a character when people are taking pictures of me. That's what I do, but it is not who I am," stated Jessica Alba.

The 33-year-old actress goes on to say that the sex symbol label that she has been associated with during her career is actually a misconception.

"I'm kind of a prude, and I didn't really understand. They would always ask me provocative questions about my sexuality, my this or that," added the founder of Honest Company.

Alba added, "I never slept my way through Hollywood, so I never felt like I compromised. Apparently people do it, I didn't. I felt like I never compromised myself because I'm a prude. I don't know. I grew up Catholic. In my head I'm always thinking, 'Oh God, can my grandma see this?'"

There was even a time when she would lie about the experiences she had to match her image within Hollywood.

"Sometimes I would lie and say something that wasn't true to make myself seem more interesting than I was. I mean, I didn't even know how to walk in heels until I went to the Golden Globes for the first time," stated Alba.

Jessica Alba opened up about her interpretation of her character in "Sin City: A Dame To Kill For."

"I wanted her to transition from being a victim to being someone who's in control of her own story," stated the actress.
