Evolve Release Date: If there is one cross-platform game that gamers should look out for it is Evolve. There is a growing anticipation for the game and if a website is to be believed, Evolve will be released later this year.

2k Games have announced the release date of the co-op multiplayer shooter Evolve. The game will be officially released on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One on October 21st.

If gamers pre-order it today from selected retailers, you can gain access to Monster Expansion Pack, which contains the Savage Goliath skin on day one and another monster character post-launch that hasn't been revealed yet. More DLC packs might be announced from other retailers in the future.

Along with this announcement, 2K Games has also shared plenty of new screenshots of the game, which you can take a look at below.

Evolve is an upcoming co-op multiplayer shooter being developed on Cry Engine. It is releasing exclusively on the current gen and PC. The game is shaping up to be the next Left 4 Dead type of multiplayer game, with its emphasis on cooperation between team members. Evolve is going for a different concept compared to Left 4 Dead with 4 players in co-op and one monster, which will be also controlled by a human player instead of an AI.

Evolve is being developed by Turtle Rock Studios, which might sound like a new studio but the developers have a proven track record in various games. So far, Evolve looks like a promising shooter for having fun with friends.
