Emma Watson news 2014 earlier revealed the Harry Potter actress to be set for graduation from Brown University before the month ends. Last May 25, the moment has finally come for her. The actress has finally earned her degree from a US university. She successfully completed a degree in English literature from the prestigious educational institution in Rhode Island.

Proud of her accomplishment, Watson took it to social media to share her happiness. She shared a photo of her with her cap and gown through her Twitter account. The photo was shot while she was preparing to be among the 2,000 fellow students to receive their degree from the highly esteemed Ivy League institution.

Watson started studying in Brown in 2009. Her decision to enroll in a US university was brought about by the expectation that the broad curriculum in the US educational system could cover up the learning gaps she had while filming the movies in the Harry Potter series.

Just like her character, Hermione, in Harry Potter, Watson has also earned the reputation for her intelligence. In fact, records of her GCSE and A-level exams would reveal a clean sweep of pure A's.

During an interview she gave a few months ago, she shared how delighted and relieved she was with the minimal attention she has been afforded with in America. She remarked, "For a while, it was amazing, as the American press afforded me so much privacy." However, she also recalled situations wherein her schoolmates got starstruck. "On the first day, I went into the canteen and everyone went completely silent and turned around to look at me," she narrated. "I had to say to myself, 'It's OK, you can do this. You just have to take a deep breath and gather your courage."

Such incidence certainly is no longer a surprise. What else could you not love about her? Especially now that a college degree has been added to her sleeve.
