2014 has been a rocky start for the "Wrecking Ball" singer. 21-year old pop star Miley Cyrus quickly gets a restraining order last Friday, May 23, against her crazed male fan from Arizona. According to Rolling Stone magazine, Miley Cyrus got the restraining order because her "crazy fan" keeps on trying to meet her at a place he think is owned by the pop star.
The man, who was later identified as Devon Meek, a 24-year old Arizona native and the subject of Miley Cyrus' restraining order, have told the police officers that Miley communicates to him through his songs and that they should shoot him in the head if he fails to meet the young singer - which caused Miley Cyrus to file a restraining order immediately. Meek also declared that after his hospital release, he will continue to see Miley Cyrus until he dies. All these words are written in s sworn statement by Detective Rosibel Smith.
Meek was arrested by the Los Angeles police on May 16 at Sierra Vista City in Arizona and was placed in a psychiatric hospital immediately. A scheduled hearing to extend Miley Cyrus' restraining order from him for three years is set on June 16. Miley Cyrus' restraining order declares that Meek should stay away at least 100 yards away from the singer at all times.
Meanwhile, the "Bangerz" singer still has yet to comment about the issue. At press time, Miley is currently finishing her album tour.
