A new release date for the new survival horror game The Evil Within has been announced.

IGN reports that The Evil Within has been delayed, and it is set to be released on October 21 in North America, October 23 in Australia and October 24 in Europe.

The game's publisher Bethesda made an official statement regarding Evil Within's release date.

"Shinji Mikami and his team at Tango Gameworks have asked for additional time to further balance and refine the game in order to deliver the polished, terrifying pure survival horror experience they set out to create."

VG24/7 reports that a new pre-order bonus for the Evil Within called the Fighting Chance Pack will have additional items and ammo for game.

Meanwhile, a new gameplay video of Evil Within has been uploaded and players will have a glimpse of what's to come in Shinji Mikami's newest masterpiece courtesy of Joystiq.com.

The Evil Within is an upcoming survival horror game developed by Tango Gameworks and published by Bethesda Softworks.This also marks the return of Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami in the survival horror genre. The game is available for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and in the PC.
