Electronic Arts continues its run of bug fixes, weeks after the FIFA 14 release date on the next generation of consoles.

Fifa 14 is a direct port from the previous generation of consoles, from the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3. Currently available on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, gamers had the option to upgrade, with improved graphics and physics in store.

The latest wave of fixes addresses gameplay glitches for both consoles. Electronic Arts plans to keep fans of the game satisfied until the FIFA 15 release date, expected sometime this fall.

Following the FIFA 14 release date on the new consoles, PS3 and Xbox 360 players can resume seasons on the PS4 and Xbox One, with their saved Ultimate Team, Seasons Progress, Online Virtual Pro and Accomplishments, and EA Sports Level and XP intact and carried over (ea.com).

Users reported numerous issues with the FIFA 14 port, and EA has since addressed these with title updates. The latest involves awards and losses unfairly granted to players after disconnecting from an FUT match.

Solutions were offered for the PS4 February, with a follow-up for the Xbox One in mid-March. The glitch adds to instances of crashing or freezing during gameplay, previously addressed and resolved, or at least minimized.

Electronic Arts games roll out in a pattern of updates, and if the FIFA 14 releases date is any indication, offers clues to the placeholder period for the FIFA 15 release date. EA's latest installment should come out this Fall, by August or September (fifagamenews.com).

Tagged as FIFA Soccer 15 in North America, playable demos are expected to come out as early as September 9, with EA Season Tickets available September 20. Aside from the previous and current generation of consoles, EA's follow-up to the FIFA 14 release date will involve ports to the PS Vita, Nintendo 3DS, iOS, and Android (to be confirmed).
