Randy Couture will be reprising his role as Toll Road on The Expandables 3, which is scheduled for release this year. "The Natural" says that working in the film alongside Sylvester Stallone is a huge opportunity.

In line with his role, "The Natural" spoke to Doug Elfman of the Las Vegas Review-Journal to discuss his experiences working alongside some of Hollywood's A-List actors, particularly Sylvester Stallone.

"I met him a couple of times outside of the movies," Couture said. "Obviously, he's a like, 'Are you kidding?'"

"It was a huge opportunity for me," he added. "In some ways, it changed the landscape for me moving forward, getting doors opened and being taken seriously as an actor."

Apart from his role in the "Expendables" franchise films, Randy Couture is more famously known as one of the most decorated mixed martial arts fighters. He has won both the UFC heavyweight and light heavyweight titles, and is a member of the UFC Hall-of-Fame.

Since his retirement from mixed martial arts competition in 2011, "The Natural" has been active in his film appearances, the latest one being "Expendables 3."

Randy Couture has also expressed his excitement towards the upcoming "Expendables 3" film and the addition of some young blood in the cast.

"In 'Expendables 3,' we bring in a whole new crew of young Expendables: Victor Ortiz, Ronda Rousey, Glen Powell and Kellan Lutz," Couture said. "You're gonna dig the dichotomy of us older guys versus the younger crew."

"The Natural" may be a veteran of MMA and the UFC since the late 90's, but he has not experienced the insurgence of women in the sport first hand. With his experience training a once-prominent champion like Gina Carano, however, Randy Couture believes that the sport needs more women fighters.

"There are some great athletes out there in the women's division, (like) Jessica Aguilar," Couture continued. "We just need more."
