Katharine McPhee bikini hot and happy considering that Katharine McPhee announced she had filed for divorce from Nick Cokas just last week, she seems to be in fairly good spirits based on her Instagram!

The former Smash star posted a cute video of her with Kellie Pickler enjoying a girls' vacation in Mexico.

McPhee is shown with the adorable blonde posting in a cabana and smiling for the camera, saying, "Hola!"

"After six years of marriage, and having been separated for the past year, Katharine McPhee has filed for a dissolution of marriage from Nick Cokas. The two have an amicable relationship and will remain friends. They ask that people respect their privacy during this time,” says McPhee’s rep. "She is in a really good place right now."

The couple hadn't been without their fair share of problems in the past year.
McPhee was photographed kissing her Smash director Michael Morris in Los Angeles in the fall, causing speculation that she had split from Cokas after nearly six years of marriage.

Although, McPhee insisted she was SEPARATED from her husband last year when she publicly made out with another man.

TMZ has obtained McPhee's divorce docs -- she lists her date of separation from husband Nicholas Cokas as March 15, 2013 ... more than 7 months before she openly locked lips with married Michael Morris.

The two were seen grabbing lunch at I Panini Di Ambra in Hollywood and exchanging some serious PDA in the parking lot before leaving in separate cars.
Morris is currently married to actress Mary McCormack and the two have reportedly since reconciled.

McPhee and Cokas first met in 2005 when they performed in a L.A. production of The Ghost and Mrs. Muir. They got engaged two years later and tied the knot in Beverly Hills on Feb. 2, 2008.
