The hype of the Power Rangers Movie reboot still continues as a former Red Ranger will share his thoughts about the movie.

Classicialite reports that former Power Rangers Time Force cast member Jason Faunt talked about his opinion on the Power Rangers Movie reboot during an interviews session with them in Xcon 2014.

"I hope that they make the story-lines a little more older. I am hoping that they do a little more character development. I think we are all kind of hoping that they shew it for it an older demographic."

Jason Faunt plays Wesley "Wes" Collins in Power Rangers Time Force as the shows Red Ranger and appeared in two crossover episodes in Power Rangers Wild Force and Power Ranger's special episode "Forever Red".

Meanwhile, rumors have been buzzing around that "Transformers" director Michael Bay will write script of the Power Rangers reboot, replacing "Chronicle" screenwriter Max Landis.

It was reported several weeks ago that Max Landis has no plans on making the new Power Rangers and yet submitted a draft for the movie.

Before Landis denied his claims on working on the movie, Power Ranger Fans disagreed on having Landis writing the script as one fan claimed that he was an "unlikely choice".

According to reports from Cinema Blend, another fan commented on Landis being in the Power Rangers movie.

"I don't think Landis is right for the part in writing this thing out, it's a hard thing getting the right writer for a good job but in the end I think whoever directs will have to take it in the right direction."

"I'm not familiar with Chronicle but i think we need a screenwriter who can capture the fun nostalgia and colorfulness of the original PR's."

The fan further adds that;

"Chronicle is pretty much the polar opposite. It's dark and gritty, and takes a realistic tone to a bunch of teens acquiring super powers. Which, frankly, would completely ruin the Power Rangers, since cheesiness and colorfulness are the reason they're popular in the first place."

The fans wanted Michael Bay to possibly direct and write the script for Power Rangers. Currently he is promoting and working on his two latest movies; Transformers: Age of Extinction and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Will the fans get their wish? We'll find out more updates pretty soon.
