Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has fired Joyce Giraud and Carlton Gebbia. Brandi Glanville is also confirmed to return for season 5 of RHOBH. Meanwhile, the rest of the cast is refusing to sign their season 5 contracts without a raise.
Brandi Glanville, 41, is returning for another season of The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills, according to Radar. The news was confirmed after reports that Joyce Giraud and Carlton Gebbia have been fired after just one season. 'Brandi will absolutely be back for another season,' a source told Radar. 'She needs the money. It's not like she has another job.'
RHOBH producers fear that Lisa Vanderpump will exit the show. TMZ reports that the 53-year-old restaurateur and reality tv star feels she has been bullied by her fellow Real Housewives stars and wants to leave RHOBH. Vanderpump has famously been in a long-running feud with Brandi.
"Brandi denies and denies her behavior - and all I can do is throw my arms up and walk away. It's not worth the pettiness," Vanderpump has said.
And the Brit admitted even if Glanville were to apologize, she's not ready to accept.
"If you'd asked me weeks ago, I would have said no way in hell; but that would be quite immature of me. [Forgiveness] would take a lot," she said.
Bravo host Andy Cohen and 'N Sync boy bander Lance Bass headed to Lisa's restaurant Pump last week to persuade their friend to stay on the Real Housewives show.
Glanville is a controversial figure on RHOBH as well as in her real life. Country singer LeAnn Rimes, who is married to Brandi's ex Eddie Cibrian and is stepmother to Brandi's two sons, and Glanville routinely take potshots at each other. Rimes also badmouths Glanville in clips of her upcoming reality show, LeAnn and Eddie.
Glanville has had very different interactions with the recently fired housewives: Former Miss Puerto Rico Joyce Giraud (married to producer Michael Ohoven) was in quite a few fights with Glanville, including one over her name. On the other hand, Glanville made out with Carlton and then bragged about it to Vanderpump.
'Decisions were made and Joyce and Carlton have been informed that they're not coming back,' one show insider told Us Weekly.
Carlton Gebbia fought with Kyle Richards for much of the show's season 4 and Richards accused Gebbia of being anti-Semitic.
Us Weekly reports that Giraud has already moved on to another as-yet unnamed TV project.
None of the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills, which concluded its fourth season in March, have renewed their contracts yet as they want raises. Raises or not, Bravo is keen to ensure the return of Lisa Vanderpump. Her spinoff Vanderpump Rules is doing well in the ratings and Vanderpump also opened new restaurant and bar PUMP Lounge earlier this month.
