The Sims 4 release date has been confirmed on the new gameplay trailer that was revealed by EA!
According to PC Advisor UK, EA confirmed that The Sims 4 will be shown at Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles on June 10 to 12. Gamers can expect free game demos, exclusive giveaways, and on-site preorders. Enthusiasts can also place orders through EA Origin Store, GAME, or Amazon.
The Sims 4 products are available in two versions - Limited Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition - priced at $84 and $100 respectively, reported PC Advisor UK. Gamers can also preorder The Sims 4 Collector's Edition online at $143.
EA prides itself with highly-improved features such as intuitive design that allows user to maximize drag-and-drop capability for convenience and practical usage. A description from EA's website reads: "Create and control the most intelligent and relatable Sims ever with new intuitive design tools. Customize your Sims' appearances, personalities, aspirations, walk styles and even their relationship to others."
Create a Sim lets players make characters using mouse manipulation to suit the player's preference. On the other hand, EA reinvented the game's Build Mode to provide room for further customizations and intricate details.
The tech website also reported that The Sims 4 is now playable even on low-end computing devices as long as it meets the minimum requirements. This is accomplished through the SmartSim technology proprietary to EA.
According to The Sims 4 producer Ryan Vaughn, "Right now, we're doing a lot of work to optimize the game's performance, cut down on loading screens and make sure everything still looks as beautiful, and the Sims feel as vibrant and that your game play is just as much fun regardless of what spec you're playing on."
The Sims 4 release date is set on Fall 2014.
