Sam Smith and Mary J. Blige teamed up for a re-worked version of Smith's latest single "Stay With Me."

The pair singing their perfect rendition of "Stay With Me" premiered on "Good Morning America" on Tuesday.

Although this version of the song won't be featured on Sam Smith's upcoming debut album, "In The Lonely Hour," which is set to be released on June 17, it's undeniably as addictive as the original version.

"Smith already swooned sweet gospel out of 'Stay With Me' on the solo tip, but with Mary on the board, the song stomps even louder in the pews as Blige brings her expressive edge to this already monster ballad," stated publication Soul Bounce.

22-year-old Sam Smith has continuously been getting comparisons to Adele, understandably so.

The "Nirvana" singer recently topped the BBC's Sound of 2014 poll and won the Critics' Choice prize at the Brit Awards a month later, according to the Telegraph U.K.

Smith already has three No. 1 singles and "In the Lonely Hour" became the fastest-selling debut album this year on Sunday.

"One of my dreams came true tonight," said Smith to the crowd after his hour-long set at Camdens' Roundhouse on Friday evening.

Smith was joined on stage by Jessie Ware for the third song of the night, "Leave Your Lover," a ballad from the new album, which was reportedly the highlight of the night.

"Smith is graced with a sugar-dipped voice that has the power to cocoon you in a blanket of sweetness - it is a voice that doesn't need the support of a busy entourage of musicians and backing singers," wrote the Telegraph U.K.
