Lucy Hale Flare Magazine shows the Pretty Little Liars actress in cowgirl!

Lucy is pretty busy nowadays. It all began with the highly anticipated 100th episode of Pretty Little Liar and then the actress-singer went into high gear when she dropped her debut country album Road Between. And now, she's tackling the print-world as the latest cover girl of Flare magazine.

The Memphis-native channeled her country roots with a cowgirl-inspired look on the Canadian magazine's cover, wearing a Michael Kors blouse with an oversized bowtie paired with a molten Dolce & Gabbana skirt. And come on, no country-chic look would be complete without a giant silver belt buckle to pull it all together.

Despite the air of confidence on the cover, inside the July issue (out today) Hale confesses she has plenty of fears about her debut. "It's very scary being open, being vulnerable, putting yourself out there at the risk of failing," Hale told Flare magazine. "The scariest part is working so, so hard for something and then it not paying off. But that almost doesn't even matter to me anymore. Making the album was the best experience of my life."

As for her musical motivation, the 24-year-old gave props to Taylor Swift for making country "cool" and leveling the playing field when it comes to ex-boyfriends and hit singles.

"I don't really keep in touch with many of my ex-boyfriends. But there are some digs in the album for sure. Taylor's untouchable. She made country quote-unquote 'cool.' And she made it OK to talk about your problems. And be vulnerable. And talk s--t about your ex-boyfriend. That's so fun! Everyone wants to do that."

Before starring on the ABC Family hit show, Lucy Hale was a singing contestant on "American Juniors." Despite her success since her time on that show she realizes that things were a bit stressful back then. She explained, "Now, looking back, I'm like, that's a lot of stress to put on some kids. But it was fun."
