We have seen all sorts of weird stuff on James Franco's Instagram - from nearly naked selfies to Spiderman memes. But the actor also enjoys posting photos of people that he looks up to, including veteran actor Ed Harris, comedian Conan O'Brien, and highly-acclaimed director Francis Ford Coppola.
The 36-year old actor recently added to his list of people that he admires is "Palo Alto" co-star Emma Roberts. He has been posting photos of her on his Instagram account and not only once, but several times. James captioned one of the photos, "My f*****n GIRL, Emma Roberts - PALO ALTO!!!!!"
The Gia Coppola film premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 24, but it debuted in selected theaters on May 9. James Franco's Instagram is filled with "Palo Alto" related photos to help promote the movie.
The 23-year old actress received positive reviews from film critics for her performance in "Palo Alto", wherein she played the school girl who had a relationship with her teacher played by James. Andrew O'Hehir said, "Haunting and memorable...with a surprising sweetness at its core and a wonderful performance from Emma Roberts."
"This Is The End" star posted a photo of the actress with that comment on it and captioned it: "EMMA ROBERTS KILLS IT IN PALO ALTO!!!" Seeing all the support that James gives to his co-stars, it must have been awesome working with the actor.
In the controversial movie, Emma had an intimate scene with James, which left many girls jealous of her. During an interview with E! News, the star of "We're The Millers" was surprised to see the number of people that were curious to find out how's it like to kiss James Franco.
She said, "Guys, girls, everybody. My mom was asking about it. I've never had so many people ask me about a kiss that wasn't even real in my whole life ever." Emma finally revealed how she felt about her bed scene with one of the hottest bachelors in Hollywood.
The New York-born actress said, "It wasn't awkward, because James is so lovely and he didn't make it weird." She added, "It wasn't weird, but there was definitely a point where you're like, 'How much longer until you say cut?'"
Emma explained, "What people don't realize is people are always like, 'Oh, you got to make out with James Franco!' I'm like, 'Yeah, and 30 people stood there and watched!' It's so not romantic at all."
