Lady Gaga new hair did not disappoint! The pop star has given us a number of bizarre looks in her day, but she still manages to switch things up in a way that continually catches us off-guard-like her latest style change, for example.
Gaga stepped out in New York City today dressed in '80s gear, wearing a bright sequin dress/shirt contraption (with a black panther coming down the center, no less) with black fishnets and black boots. But the part of her look that raised eyebrows was her hair.
For the past few days, Mother Monster has ditched her normal locks for a new mane.
She's been strutting huge, dark brown curls with various outfits. Whether her new tresses are actually real or just a wig is not certain, and Gaga hasn't explained what sparked the new look, but she did tell Twitter followers, "I am my new hair."
Just yesterday, she rocked the same 'do with black heels and a vintage sequined leopard-print Dolce & Gabbana coat, which was once owned and worn by heiress, artist and style diva Daphne Guinness.
"Dolce and Gabbana archive as previously worn and owned by @therealdaphne," Gaga captioned a photo of her look on Instagram. She followed up with another snapshot and wrote, "Missed my New York babies, best babies there are."
Lady Gaga is such a huge Daphne fan she even splashed out a whopping £85, 250 for her Alexander McQueen gown, which was up for auction when she cleared out her wardrobe to raise money for charity.
"I am a passionate fashion collector and feel honoured to support the The Isabella Blow Foundation. Daphne Guinness is a pioneer for artistic women," she said after the pricey purchase.
While last year Gaga posted a black and white snap of the pair and called her a legend.
"Me + the Queen @TheRealDaphne She is truly a living legend and muse to the greats. Photo by Terry Richardson," she wrote.
