Are you ready to hear some "Avengers 2" spoilers from your favorite big green guy? The Hulk played a huge role in the first movie because the team of superheroes would have probably lost the fight without him. Who could ever forget the scene where he beat up Loki like he was just a fly and his head-to-head challenge with Thor.
Fans of The Hulk are excited to see him in the next installment, but would he have a big presence in the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" like before? In an interview with Total Film, Mark Ruffalo reveals the importance of his character in the sequel.
He said, "My role's even bigger than last time, and it's more complex and it has more layers and a bit more arc." The 46-year old actor also talked about the motion capture process. Ruffalo said, "I'm really tripping on the technology of this motion-capture stuff... now I just completely embrace it and see it as this other exciting place we can go as performers."
Mark Ruffalo revealed more "Avengers 2" spoilers as he talked about The Hulk's new look. In the first movie, the muscular green man doesn't have any resemblance to his alter ego Bruce Banner. This time, the actor said that it looks just like him.
Ruffalo said, "We're going out of our way. First of all, I'll be playing it." He added, "I'll be the first actor to actually do it in motion capture as the Hulk. And so all the features are mine - they're just really big."
Because of the Hulk's popularity, people started to ask if there will ever be a standalone movie for this particular Marvel character just like Iron Man and Thor. There have already been films about the Hulk that were released in the past. One was played by Eric Bana and the other was Edward Norton.
But fans wanted to see Mark Ruffalo's adorable character in its own movie. The actor tweeted, "A lot of folks have been asking about the next Hulk. The next time you see my Hulk it will be in The Avengers 2. No plans for stand alone."
Ruffalo still gave his fans some hope by tweeting: "I am not giving up on another stand alone Hulk. But it's not in the works right now. One never knows what the future will bring." Did the "Avengers 2" spoilers get you all excited? We will give you more updates as the movie progresses.
