The latest development to the sequel of Square Enix's Tomb Raider has been revealed.

According to reports from Gameranx, two new domain names for Tomb Raider have been hinted to be the next title in E3 2014, courtesy of Twitter username Superannuation. These names are "Rise of The Tomb Raider" and "Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris".

Gematsu reports that Nintendo Force writer Emily Rogers twitted a possible title for the Tomb Raider sequel.

But, Examiner.com reports that Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris would be a follow-up to another Tomb Raider game called Lara Croft and the Guardian of light as Roger also hinted that the title will not be a mobile exclusive game and it will be available for download for PS4, Xbox One and the PC as well as as for Android and iOS platforms.

Meanwhile, Rise of Tomb Raider would be the sequel to the 2013 reboot as the synopsis hinted a more experienced and hardened Lara Croft after her exploits in the first game. The first game is noted for its distinct lack of actual tombs to raid with most being small areas, so gamers might expect more levels and actual tombs in the sequel.

Square Enix North America and Europe CEO Phil Rogers stated that the reboot's sequel is well into development.

"I am also excited to reveal that we are well into development on a next-generation Tomb Raider sequel - something you may have heard about recently."

Will the Tomb Raider sequel meet the expectations of the gaming fans in E3 2014?
