Eva Green found the banned "Sin City 2" poster sexy but ultimately, she has no problem with it being ordered edited by censors since the 33-year-old actress doesn't want to be typecast as a femme fatale.

Eva Green said that when she first heard about the "Sin City 2" poster featuring her in sheer gown with a hint of her nipples showing, she thought it was all for publicity or "a lot of noise for nothing."

"You have so many more violent things in the movie business and this is kind of soft. I'm not naked. It's suggested.... I'm not actually naked on the poster," she told Vanity Fair.

Eva Green then added that she finds the banned "Sin City 2" poster "really sexy, actually."

"It's kind of beautiful. But if it shocks people, I don't know what to do about it. I don't want to upset anybody. I don't want to be seen as just the femme fatale or put into some silly box. I hope that people will have enough imagination," she added.

Eva Green's banned "Sin City 2" poster was edited in order to meet the standards of the Motion Picture Association of America.

The original banned "Sin City 2" poster shows the 33-year-old actress garbed in a sheer dressing gown that revealed a hint of her nipples which "leaves little to the imagination," PageSix reported. She was also wielding a gun on her right hand and was sporting a bright red lipstick and manicure which are the same color as the text in the movie's title.

The MPAA disapproved the submitted poster "for nudity - curve of under breast and dark nipple/areola circle visible through sheer gown."

The edited banned "Sin City 2" poster shows the actress robe as "less sheer."

An E! News insider said that this kind of compromise "happens all the time."

"The movie will submit ads and the MPAA will ask for tweaks to be made. There's a compromise and that's it," the source added.
