Barcelona Transfer News 2014 features "Barca's" intent to sign Borussia Dortmund's Marco Reus, and the German football club CEO's refusal, adding that they are "not selling players."

In a report by Spanish news outlet Sport.es about the Barcelona Transfer News 2014, "Barca" is said to have made a deal with Marco Reus via a verbal agreement.

In another report by 101 Great Goals, Reus is said to be the more "economically viable" option. Initially, Barcelona was keen on signing Argentine striker Sergio Aguero upon the request of the team's star forward Lionel Messi.

"Barca" will have to make a £28 million bid for Marco Reus release clause, which will be effective 2015.

However, the Dortmund camp has recently denied any Barcelona Transfer News 2014. Both Marco Reus and the German football club spoke about the matter.

In a report by Thomas Zocher of Sky Sports, Marco Reus has maintained he will still be playing for Borussia Dortmund for the upcoming season, but at the same time, he is not closing his doors completely.

"It's safe to say I will be playing for Borussia Dortmund also in the 2014/2015 season," Reus said. "Basically I do not need to stress all the time that I am feeling great being with the club."

"As far as leaving (Borussia Dortmund) that is no issue for me, and I am not affected by it (the transfer release clause)," he added.

While another report came out from Sports.es regarding the Barcelona Transfer News 2014, stating that Reus "expressed his desire to play in a bigger European league," it may still not be possible given the most recent statement released by Dortmund CEO Aki Watzke regarding the matter.

In a report by ESPN.fc, Watzke dispelled any further Barcelona Transfer News 2014, saying that nobody else will be leaving his football club any time soon.

"We absolutely do not see the need to sell players who have an existing contract," he said.
