Miranda Lambert's album promotional tour took an unexpected turn when the plane she was on had to make an emergency landing in Virginia. But the incident did not deter Blake Shelton's rumored divorced wife as she used the same to make further promo of her album.
The E! Online reported that the country singer was in plane going to Nashville for her promotional tour when they needed to make an emergency landing in Clarksburg, West Virginia.
But the bubbly 30-year-old singer resisted boredom and took the chance to promote the new Miranda Lambert album, "Platinum," amid the technical difficulties of the plane.
Miranda Lambert's publicist Wes Vause told the CBS News that the private plane lost pressure and had to spend three hours on the ground before managing to trek southward going to Nashville.
Showing a photo of the blonde beauty and her fellow passengers wearing platinum firefighting gears, Miranda Lambert captioned her Instagram post, "Our plane had an emergency landing in Clarksburg WV. But don't worry, we found platinum fire suits. Yes! #platinum."
Vause also added that they listened to country music to kill time.
She added, "All in all, it was a pretty good day."
In another Instagram post, Miranda Lambert's album promo continued as she showed a photo of her perfectly tattooed hand while holding a copy of her "Platinum" CD. Miranda Lambert graces the album's cover with a jaw-dropping black dress and her famed cowboy boots. Her slender legs exposed as a slit went up to her sexy thigh.
"Finally! It's here! I'm freaking out! So excited!" she wrote.
Notwithstanding rumors of pregnancy and divorce with 37-year-old singer Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert even managed to be the cover girl for the Rolling Stone's first country issue.
"One day we were country singers, and the next we're on the front of the tabloids," she told the Rolling Stones magazine on rumors circling the entertainment news.
She even added, "I'm, like, really magical. I've been pregnant for two and a half years."
The blonde singer covers the magazine with Eric Church as she sports a sexy white tank top and denim shorts that perfectly reveals her toned and slimmed body.
"I think as a musician, that's what you shoot for. To be on the cover of Rolling Stone and to have that notch in your belt is something that is really important. It makes other musicians respect you," she told The Rolling Stone.com on her being a cover girl.
