"One Direction" has dominated the world in a very fast pace despite having placed only on third place in "The X Factor UK" in 2010. The world was only half on-board with their typical boy band cheekiness then, but performing in front of more than 90,000 fans at Wembley Stadium proves that the group has now come very far in their careers.

Top boy band "One Direction" have raised a whopping amount of £600,000 for certain charitable causes while on the Ireland and UK leg of their tour "Where We Are".

Despite viral videos or photos of band members Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik allegedly sharing a marijuana joint, the group's management has revealed this huge sum of funds on the final date of the British part of their concert tour Sunday at Wembley Stadium.

"One Direction", more popularly coined as 1D, has donated 50p for each ticket that is sold, including their tour in Edinburgh last Tuesday, to the campaign "Stand Up To Cancer". Fans who purchased their tickets over the Internet were also given the opportunity to donate to the very same cause.

A total of over £300,000 has already been raised, to be divided between the Rays of Sunshine Children's Charity and Teenage Cancer Trust. In addition to this, 1D also invited these two aforementioned charities to bring more than 50 of their recipients for a personal meet-and-greet before their gig Sunday night.

1D also took part in a charity football game, organized by their Irish member Niall Horan, after they got back to the UK only last month. This "Niall Horan Charity Football Challenge" was played at the home stadium of Leicaster City on the 26th of May as it featured other celebrities, such as James Corden and Jake Whitehall, in addition to known football legends Matt Le Tissier and Robbie Savage.

For this charity game alone, more than 15,000 tickets were sold, amounting to a total of another £300,000, which will also be donated to another two charities that 1D supports are the UK Heart and Minds Challenge and the Irish Autism Action.
