Half Life 3 continues to be the subject of waiting for the fans. E3 was thought to be the ground breaking event where Valve announces Half Life 3. However, everything turns into disappointment as the game developer didn't participate in the annual gaming event.
It gets more frustrating for the fans. The decade long wait is clearly driving them nuts. Nevertheless, the Half Life community kept their composure and continue to hope for Half Life 3.
Meanwhile, one fan managed to find out when Half Life 3 will be out. The anonymous individual went out to share an image of Gabe Newell. The image reveals Valve's co-founder, wearing a cap that reads Parsifal.
With zero idea on what Parsifal is, the fellow went on Wikipedia and discovered something huge. It appears that Parsifal is a name of an opera from Richard Wagner and it has three acts in it. This totally has something to do with Half Life 3.
On top of that, it took Wagner 25 years to complete all three acts. The series have already gone through the test of time. Calculating the years, it simply says that Half Life 3 will be released in 2023.
While the conspiracy might sound ridiculous and full of coincidence, it seems that the fans are putting their hopes on it. To the fans, everything Gabe Newell wears or does have something to do with Half Life 3. Gamers can just hope that is true.
