Batman: Arkham Knight gameplay may have been delayed until 2015 but fortunately, it is not necessary to wait until next year to see what the highly awaited title has to offer. According to Load The Game, Batman: Arkham Knight "was showcased during Sony's E3 2014 press conference, complete with new gameplay footage and PS4 exclusive pre-order bonus announcement. Pre-ordering Batman Arkham Knight for the PlayStation 4 will grant you access to the Scarecrow nightmare missions." An add-on will be required if you will pre-order the game for any platform, this will allow you to play as the ill-famed Harley Quinn. "Become Harley Quinn for the first time ever in an Arkham game and utilize her unique weapons, gadgets, and abilities first-hand. The add-on includes four exclusive challenge maps."

Batman: Arkham Knight is the final instalment in the Batman Arkham series. According to Trusted Reviews, Warner Bros. Entertainment and developer Rocksteady have made the decision to launch this game only on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, to focus on delivering the best Batman game we've seen to date in terms of graphics, gameplay.

Aside from having the Batmobile as an addition, Batman: Arkham Knight will feature a new story in which Batman is marked against his most dangerous adversaries. The setting takes place a year after the events of Batman: Arkham City when the city of Arkham hasn't recovered from Joker's devastation yet. Scarecrow has stepped into role of head villain, but Trusted Reviews described Arkham Knight as "eponymous" which is said to look like the most interesting character, especially from the gameplay footage seen at E3 2014.

Arkham Knight is a character specifically designed for the game by Geoff Johns, writer of Green Lantern, Justice League and Aquaman. Reportedly, based on the gameplay footage, he "hates Batman with a searing passion and knows Batman's personality like the back of his hand."

"Arkham Knight offers much grander structures to scale too. Just taking a look around in game, buildings are noticeably a lot taller than in previous Arkham games. They make traversing the city a lot more complicated. However, the new chain grapple does help you scale those heights quicker as it automatically connects several grapple connections to launch you to the buildings' lofty peaks without you having to make the moves yourself," Sam Loveridge describes.

Batman: Arkham Knight will be released in 2015 instead of October 2014.
