Kate Hudson's ex boyfriends shocked the "Almost Famous" star after her former athlete flames admitted to have been using dope while building their careers, InStyle magazine reported.

"I was as shocked as anyone. But I personally think that you make the choices you make and you should reap the consequences," Kate Hudson told the magazine on the revelation that her exes Lance Armstrong and Alex Rodriguez have been using performance-enhancement drugs.

Kate Hudson's ex boyfriend Lance Armstrong, who was also linked to actress Sheryl Crow, admitted to Oprah Winfrey last year on national television that he has been using performance-enhancement drugs in his entire career as a cyclist.

The Daily News also reported that another Kate Hudson ex boyfriend, Alex Rodriguez, also made an admission in 2009.

Just last year, the Yankees player was suspended for the entire 2014 season because of his connection with the suppliers of the drugs.

Kate Hudson added, "Lance and Alex are phenomenal athletes who have made some bad choices and let a lot of people down. It's a decision they made for themselves and they've got to loathe it."

She even said in the interview with the said magazine that people have the right to feel betrayed on what the former athletes have done.

The 35-year-old mother of two dated Lance Armstrong for a few months in 2008 while Alex Rodriguez and the "Almost Famous" star had been an item in 2009, ABC News reported.

She dated former cyclist Lance Armstrong after her split with ex-husband Black Crowes musician Chris Robinson.Robinson and Kate have a son, Ryder, who is now 10.

The actress was also linked to actor Owen Wilson, who was her co-star in the movie "You, Me And Dupree."

The "Almost Famous" star is now with Muse rocker Matthew Bellamy with whom she has child, two-year-old Bingham.
