Rumors previously claimed that "American Idol" judge Jennifer Lopez has completely moved on from Casper Smart, because she's already dating "Dancing With the Stars" alum Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
However, the "I Luh Ya Papi" singer, who recently performed in Brazil for the World Cup 2014, denied such allegations.
On Wednesday, Lopez took her thoughts to Twitter to slam rumors. She replied to a radio station who insinuated she's already dating, People reported.
Lopez wrote, "No I'm not. #rumors #nottrue," and then the singer went on to promote the release of her latest album "A.K.A." on June 17.
To further clarify her denial, another fan asked her on Twitter if she's currently dating someone and the "Jenny From the Block" artist replied, "No I'm not (dating anyone new alredy)."
Meanwhile, a source previously confirmed to NY Daily News that whatever relationship Lopez and Chmerkovskiy have is still pretty new.
Another source confirmed that the "DWTS" alum and the singer are definitely attracted to each other, but nothing serious has ever happened between them.
"I think they could become a couple. Who knows what will happen?," the source said.
However, even though Lopez denied that she's currently dating Chmerkovskiy, the singer admitted that she's open to dating in general, People Magazine revealed.
In January, she confessed to People, "I'm one of those people who does not like to be alone. I have no shame saying that at this point in my life. I think we have to own who we are."
Other than her current relationship status, the returning "American Idol" judge is also busy preparing for next season. She has also written her first book entitled "True Love" which is set for release in October.
In an interview with The LA Times, Lopez revealed, "I'm nervous about it, I'll be honest. It's soul-baring."
Talking about what has changed from the time she released her first album, Lopez lamented, "There's a different strength to me than there was from my first album. I'm the same girl, I'm the same person, but I'm stronger now..."
