Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers' new girlfriend is apparently making the athlete happy as he said in an interview with ESPN Wisconsin radio that he's glad to be dating the actress.

According to E! Online, the 30-year-old NFL star said that he is really happy in his relationship with the "The Newsroom" actress amid their spreading PDA photos in an outdoor set of the HBO series.

"For one, I'm real happy in my relationship. And I understand what comes with it," he said regarding the Aaron Rodgers girlfriend news.

The NFL star added "And two, the last couple years I've learned a lot about perspective and what's important."

He also shared that he cannot hide from the spotlight as he recognizes the fame he had to deal with, having been a successful player over the years.

Sources from US Weekly also revealed that the couple was confirmed dating when they were spotted having a dinner with friends in Nobu Malibu in May.

They were also spotted in Green Bay recently having lunch and going to the movies, E! Online said.

The news on Aaron Rodgers' girlfriend may also end speculation on the quarterback's rumors on being gay.

Just late last year, Aaron Rodgers denied claims that he is gay and having a sexual relationship with his roommate and assistant Kevin Lanflisi, according to Hollywood Life.

Aaron Rodgers quickly denied rumors saying, "I'm just gonna say, I'm not gay. I really, really like women."

Aaron Rodgers' girlfriend Olivia Munn meanwhile seems to be shy on opening about their relationship in a video interview with Vogue.

When Vogue asked her to define "love," the "Ironman 2" star said: "What is love? Ha, that's a huge, loaded question that I do not know the answer to," she said.

But at the end of the interview, she revealed that she is excited with almost "everything" in her life now.
