"American Idol" alum Kelly Clarkson gave birth to her baby girl and announced the news via Twitter.
She wrote, "Our baby girl River Rose Blackstock arrived on June 12th! Thank you everyone for all of your well wishes! Brandon and I are on cloud 9!!."
Fans of the pop superstar expressed their congratulations via Twitter. One user wrote, "@kellyclarkson awww that's such a cute name J." Another fan wrote, "@kelly_clarkson I'm so happy for you both!"
Twitter user @_countryjunkie quipped, "@kelly_clarkson awe congrats Kelly can't wait to see a picture of your beautiful baby girl.
The "Stronger" singer did not really have an easy pregnancy. In the past couple of months prior to giving birth, Clarkson tweeted, "Ladies if you r pregnant & sick as a dog trust me when I say the one thing u will keep down just might be 'baked potatoes' #godblesspotatoes."
And two months before giving birth, Clarkson tweeted on her birthday, "It's my birthday!!!! For my birthday I have asked my unborn baby girl to sleep through the night and laugh a lot when she comes out. J"
Meanwhile, the 32-year-old Clarkson and her manager/husband Brandon made headlines last year after a woman came out and revealed that she had an affair with Blackstock, the Huffington Post reported.
"Short and simple: Brandon has been cheating on Kelly (with me) for the past 5 months," the woman said.
Blackstock immediately responded to such claims and took his thoughts to Twitter, saying, "It makes for great reading while in on the sh***er."
Clarkson tweeted, "Keep hearing random rumors of me & Brandon splitting or that he's cheating on me. Stop will all the lying please. #aintnobodygottimeforthat."
Clarkson's representative declined to comment further regarding the issue, according to the Daily Mail. The source said, "We don't comment on our artists' personal lives."
