Brazil won their first match against Croatia at 3-1, but the game itself is controversial. The European team had a quizzical penalty, thanks to Fred's alleged acting and the Japanese referee's judgement. This left their opponent annoyed and disappointed, but it just did the trick for Brazil to claim victory. An improved performance is expected for this next game with Mexico.

Mexico could be considered as Brazil's number one nemesis out of all the teams in the World Cup. In 2012, Brazil lost to Mexico in the Olympic finals, the only one remarkable play-off that the Brazilians have never accomplished. However, Mexico also had the say on seven out of thirteen previous matches. But Brazil won the last meeting in the 2013 Confederations Cup.

Another thing that Brazil has to worry about is the Hulk's muscle injury. Though the striker swore he is still good to go, the team coach, Luis Felipe Scolari says he might not allow him to join the game this Tuesday. Another injured player, Neymar, looks like he's recovered now and ready to fight.

Another player to watch out for from the Brazilian team is Paulinho the midfielder. He has been responsible for some timely goals in the last games. Who knows, maybe this time he can exceed his own expectations.

Now, Mexico boasts of Giovani dos Santos, the man of the match in the previous fight against Cameroon.
