Tupac fans all around the world would really love it if the rapper was still alive. That's why some can't be stopped from spreading Tupac "alive" rumors online.
The rapper who was shot dead in 1996 celebrates his birthday today. He would have been 43.
Even though he's gone, a lot still remembered his special day by tweeting their greetings for the famous rapper.
According to Empty Lighthouse, "The out-pouring of love continues to grow on Twitter, and the influence of Tupac clearly is stronger than ever."
"Tupac has become something of a legend since his death and seems to rise above the rest of the fallen rappers like Big Pun, Biggie Smalls, Gang Starr and Big L."
Despite his untimely death, Tupac's life and craftsmanship will be forever remembered in the music scene. Just recently there have been reports of having a Broadway musical inspired by one of his hits.
The musical entitled after his song "Holler If Ya Hear Me," will star Tony Award-winning actress Tonya Pinkins and Saul Williams among many.
It somehow felt that Tupac was still alive after a new report came out of an interview with the police officer who was at the crime scene where Tupac was gunned down. The account was published in Vegas Seven.
Retired policeman Chris Carroll shared Tupac's last words in a never been heard account since 1996.
Salon.com shared it here:
"...So I'm looking at Tupac, and he's trying to yell back at Suge, and I'm asking him, 'Who shot you? What happened? Who did it?' And he was just kind of ignoring me. He was making eye contact with me here and there, but he's trying to yell at Suge. And I kept asking over and over, 'Who did this? Who shot you?' And he basically kept ignoring me. And then I saw in his face, in his movements, all of a sudden in the snap of a finger, he changed. And he went from struggling to speak, being noncooperative, to an 'I'm at peace' type of thing. Just like that.
"He went from fighting to 'I can't do it.' And when he made that transition, he looked at me, and he's looking right in my eyes. And that's when I looked at him and said one more time, 'Who shot you?'
"He looked at me and he took a breath to get the words out, and he opened his mouth, and I thought I was actually going to get some cooperation. And then the words came out:
'Fuck you.'"
