News of Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield being engaged have been making waves online for quite some time now.
According to Hollywood Life, the "Amazing Spider-Man 2" co-stars have decided to take their relationship to the next level by getting engaged. They also added that the two are "planning to get hitched."
Citing Star magazine's claims, Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield were recently spotted shopping for engagement rings at NYC's Diamond District.
A source told Star: "They were looking for a loose emerald-shaped stone. They want to design an engagement ring together."
There still has been no confirmation to this growing rumor. Fans of the couple are still waiting for an official engagement announcement from the couple, or from reps of Andrew and Emma.
Even though the engagement rumors are not yet confirmed to be true, one thing can be verified- the couple would rather turn the attention given to them by the media to something more useful.
On Tuesday morning, the couple was seen holding papers with messages as they were photographed by paparazzi's in NYC.
This wasn't the first time that the couple did such a thing. They are actually quite remembered for promoting advocacies when they know photos will be taken of them.
Here is what both of their cards said:
Emma: "Good morning! We were eating and saw a group of guys with cameras outside. And so we thought, let's try this again. We don't need the attention, but these wonderful organizations do: ->"
Andrew: "www.youthmentoring.org, www.autismspeaks.org (and don't forget) www.wwo.org, www.gildasclubnyc.org. Here's to the stuff that matters. Have a great day!"
