The Colombians started off their World Cup campaign with a resounding win from the Greeks. Pablo Romero goaled in within five minutes of the first half, but Greece still had a good fight.

"It was a good debut with players who had never played a World Cup," said Colombia Coach José Pékerman, talking about their first game against Greece.

Nevertheless, the play ended with a 3-0 score, as Teofilo Guttierez and James Rodriquez individually scored at the second half of the game.

Even without injured Colombian striker Radamel Falcao, the team boasts of high confidence for their upcoming games.

On the other hand, the Ivory Coast team also did well in their opening match against Japan, which ended at 2-1.

Though it was Japan's Keisuke Honda who first scored in the match within sixteen minutes, things quickly turned around in the second half when Didier Drogba of Ivory Coast was introduced in the game.

"Having a player like Didier Drogba in the team, or among the substitutes, changes a game," said Ivory Coast coach Sabri Lamouchi.

Indeed, the upcoming game will be an exciting one. Ivory Coast disproved itself being an underdog, while Colombia did not break their 16 years streak of great opening games.
