Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard's wedding is just around the corner. The Arkansas-based couple took a very practical approach in their wedding registry. They requested for things that they can use every day which includes pliers, screwdrivers, cereals and noodles.

According to US Weekly, the "19 Kids & Counting" star tweeted out a link earlier this year to the couple's wedding website, "which features links to their registries at Amazon, Walmart, and Bed Bath & Beyond."

Reportedly, the couple requested for normal household paraphernalia like towels, bowls and silverwares. However, there are also more unusual requests like cereal, including Raisin Bran, Froot Loops, Hershey's Cookies 'n' Creme, Berry Colossal Crunch, and Fruity Dyno-Bites. They've also registered for Instant Noodles and gift cards to restaurants like Qdoba Mexican Grill, Buffalo Wild Wings, Papa John's Pizza, Subway, Starbucks, and Panera Bread.

They even listed more costly items which include the usual kitchen appliances, a Yamaha keyboard, a digital camera, and two firearms, a 12-gauge shotgun and a Smith & Wesson rifle.

Reportedly, Dillard was doing missionary work in Nepal when Jim Bob connected them.

"The answer to my prayer came in August 2013, just before I left Nepal for a two week trip to Japan. During a conversation with Jim Bob, he mentioned how he thought Jill and I might get along well, having similar personalities and direction in life," Dillard wrote on the website.

"He gave me Jill's phone number and we began texting, then emailing, then skyping/ talking on the phone. Over the next few months we became very grateful for modern technology as we continued to get to know each other better. Most of our conversations were centered around our values and life goals."

"When my dad first introduced Derick and I [remotely], we spent hours texting, calling, and talking on Skype while 8,000 miles away from each other," the TLC star told ABC News in April.

"When we finally met in person," she added, "we knew within days that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together...I love Derick's desire to follow God and to serve others. Derick is so romantic and the proposal was perfect."

Duggar, 23, and Dillard, 25, will tie the knot on Saturday, June 21.
