While Ghana lost in their last game against USA at 2-1, The Black Stars still had most ball possessions for the game. Also, Andre Ayew's equalizer goal is a great one.

Ghana has been in the Round of 16 Knockout Stage for two consecutive years now, out of two years of participating in the tournament.

"We have been rated as underdogs in the group, which we are happy about. For the past four, eight years, we have been written about as underdogs, but we always prove people wrong," said Ghana player Jonathan Mensah, on their match preview against the Americans.

On the other hand, the Germans won against Portugal in a ruthless 4-0 game, five days ago at the Fonte Nova. Joachin Low, Germany's coach is more than pleasant with the performance of his top scorers, Thomas Muller, and Mats Hummels. The game was rather a surprising one for Portugal, who are suffering a streak of bad luck.

Anyway, the game was not that entertaining, but it is a manifestation of how well the Germans are doing. Definitely, it is a big sign that says: Watch out for us.

This Group G clash is a classic match between the two teams. Though Germany places 2nd in the FIFA World Cup rankings, and Ghana is at 37th, most believe that the Black Stars could still have a shot at victory.
