LG G Watch Price, Release Date are still unofficially confirmed by LG Electronics. As of this time, rumors suggest that the new smart watch's approximate retail value is less than that of the recently launched Gear 2 Neo that amounted to $169.99. According to Modaco website, the LG G Watch is expected to be released on July 7, which is roughly a week and half after the Google I/O event.
Reportedly, LG says that the G Watch will have an always-on display and will also feature water and dust resistance.
NDTV Gadgets reported that the alleged specifications sheet of the G watch was leaked via Twitter by @Upleak. According to the oozed unverified information, the G watch would include a 1.65-inch LCD screen with 280x280 pixel resolution; a quad-core Snapdragon 400 (with APQ8026 CPU) chipset; 4GB of storage: 4GB of RAM; Bluetooth 4.0, and a 400mAh Li-Po battery that's rated to give 36 hours of standby time, and charge in under 2 hours.
According to reports, the LG G Watch also measures 37.9x46.5x9.95mm and weigh 61 grams. It charges via Micro-USB. The images also reveal the G Watch to take notes and notify for emails and SMS. The watch will support English, Spanish, French, Korean and Chinese language.
Since the LG G Watch is said to be made mostly from rubber and plastic it is purported to have a lower price than its expected counterpart from Motorola. The Moto G which features a stainless steel housing with steel and leather band options is rumoured to have an approximate retail value of $249. Though the price is yet to be announced by Motorola, speculations on its ARV was based in the official rules of a contest that Motorola is holding. The said competition allows consumers to choose the official template PSD for the Moto 360 watch face design.
The LG G watch is anticipated to be introduced in the Google I/0 2014 in June 25 and June 26.
