Soccer player Hope Solo has been arrested and is being held without bail for investigation on two counts of domestic-violence assault, according to USA Today.
The Olympic gold medalist is currently being held at the South Correctional Entity Regional Jail in Des Moines, Wash.
Hope Solo was arrested after reportedly being accused of striking her sister and nephew at her home. Both were suffering "visible injuries," stated Kirkland police Lt. Mike Murray to The Seattle Times.
"There was a big party going on at her house. It was an out-of-control situation," stated Murray.
Murray told the newspaper that officers were called to Solo's home, which she shares with her husband and former NFL player Jerramy Stevens, because of an assault and noise disturbance.
The 32-year-old soccer star is listed as "Hope Amelia Stevens" on the registry list at the county jail. No release date has been noted.
The goalkeeper for the Seattle Reign FC has led the U.S. women's team to back-to-back Olympic titles in 2008 and 2012 and a runner-up finish in the 2011 Women's World Cup in Germany, according to the NY Daily News.
She became even more widely known after she made an appearance on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars."
The U.S. women's national team played a game against France on Thursday night in Hartford, but Solo was not part of the squad.
The team reportedly announced on Wednesday that Solo would not be available to play "due to a family commitment."
