'19 Kids and Counting' star Jill Duggar has finally married her year-long boyfriend, Derick Dillard after releasing a unique bridal registry list which includes cereals, guns and ammunition, and a whole lot more.
The 23-year-old Duggar married 25-year-old Dillard on Saturday in a grand wedding ceremony attended by approximately 1,000 people at the Cross Church in Springdale, Arkansas, ABC News reported. .
Duggar and Dillard who have not yet shared a kiss, not even once throughout their year-long relationship, exchanged their first ever towards the end of their wedding ceremony, according to the Hollywood Gossip.
In a previous episode of the hit reality TV show '19 Kids and Counting," Jill explained her decision to not kiss her boyfriend until they get married.
"I think it is safer and makes it more special to wait to kiss until your wedding day. To save the physical side of your marriage for your wedding day and not going further that you should... we both just want to have no regrets."
Dillard added, "You can really get to know each other on every level without the physical part of it. I am the most blessed man to have Jill."
Jill and Derick got engaged in April and at that time, the fourth child of Jim and Michelle explained how they first met, US Weekly noted.
"When my dad first introduced Derick and I remotely, we spent hours texting, calling, and talking on Skype while 8,000 miles away from each other. And when we finally met in person in Nepal, we knew within days that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together," she said."
She continued, "I love Derick's desire to follow God and to serve others. Derick is so romantic and the proposal was perfect."
And when it comes to having children in the future, the couple admitted they want as many kids as possible and are also open to the idea of adoption, US Weekly confirmed.
