"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" star Megan Fox has opened up to Parents Magazine about her life as a working mom and her desire to film just one movie per year in order to spend more time with her two sons, Noah and Bodhi.
"Before you have kids, you really do not understand how much work it is and how consuming it is. And then you have one and you're like, 'Oh my God, my baby is my whole world.' Every moment of the day is dedicated to this one baby, and then all of a sudden you have two babies."
The actress continued, "It's so hard to be a working mom especially when your heart is not in your work, when your heart is with your family."
However, although Fox finds it quite challenging to balance her life as an actress and as mother, she confessed that filming at least one movie per year is what's best for her, according to Daily Digest News.
"I have to make one movie a year because I have to invest in the future and I have to be able to pay their way through college and be able to provide for them. I'm looking for movies that will shoot in Los Angeles, for projects where I'm part of an ensemble so I can shoot in and out in 10 to 20 days. It's all about trying to spend as little time away from my kids as possible." she explained.
Fox, who was once well known for portraying sexy roles on the big screen confessed to Mirror UK in 2012 that being a parent has changed all that.
"I'm going to be more cautious about choosing films because I'm already thinking about when he's in school and his friends are going to be showing him my photo shoots with me in a bikini and he's going to be horrified."
Meanwhile, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" will be shown this coming August 2014.
