"30 Rock" actor Tracy Morgan has been released from a New Brunswick hospital and moved to a rehabilitation center, where he is recovering, following a fatal car crash earlier this month.

Morgan's spokesman Lewis Kay released a statement and said, "Tracy has been transferred to an undisclosed rehab center, where he is expected to remain for the next few weeks. While he is continuing to show signs of improvement, he still has a long way to go. He and fiancée Megan Wollover wanted to publicly express their deepest gratitude to everyone at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital for the unbelievable care and attention they provided him."

On June 7, Morgan and other fellow comedian James McNair and Ardie Fuqua were on board a limousine bus that was allegedly hit by Wal-Mart truck driver Kevin Roper. McNair passed away following the crash, while Fuqua suffered extensively due to the incident, according to NY Daily News.

Meanwhile, Roper was previously arrested by police officials who initially claimed that he hasn't slept for 24 hours prior to the incident and was charged with vehicular homicid, the Huffington Post noted.

Roper previously spoke out following his arrest and said via Twitter, "Once again the accident was horrific and we lost a precious life, but please remember I was not drunk, high (I was tested and passed)."

In another tweet, the Wal-Mart trucker said, "I had an 'ACCIDENT' which unfortunately occurred with a lot of media spotlight. I was never charged at the scene of the accident because once again I was not guilty of any crime."

Sergeant Gregory Williams of New Jersey State Police claimed that Roper was didn't practice attentiveness while driving, Urban Mecca revealed.

""The driver of the tractor-trailer failed to observe slow-moving traffic ahead. At the last minute, he swerved to try and avoid the Mercedes limo bus but struck it from behind, forcing the limo to rotate and overturn," he said.
