Lil Wayne New Album 2014, The Carter V, will be his final LP according to PitchFork.

The source said that Lil Wayne is not kidding about his retirement. In an interview with MTV, he confirmed he has a new album, to be released in 2014, and this is his final one.

He stated in MTV's interview, "It seems like it'd be impossible for me to work this hard again for anything else."

Lil Wayne's The Carter V was rumored to be released on May 5. But when NeverNotDope.com asked if the rumor was true, Weezy's manager, Cortez Bryant, replied: "No." Then added, with a smile, "You'll see."

The latest album of Lil Wayne is Young Money: Rise of an Empire, which was released March 18, featuring multiple appearances from Lil Wayne.

MTV's post related to 'The Carter' Album has no confirmation about the reason why the rapper is retiring, or why this album is the last.

However, what makes the post of MTV sound intriguing is when it stated that the rapper plans on leaving rapping. The post also included the statement of Lil Wayne, "whenever I have to pitch in for a Young Money album, a Like Father, Like Son album and something like that; and maybe something out 0f the blue."

The single 'Believe Me' is also rumoured as one of the features in 'The Carter V'. Cortez Bryant confirmed the issue through Twitter that it was not true.
