The Batman: Arkham Knight release date has been leaked by none other than Microsoft themselves.
According to reports from Gaming Blend, the Microsoft Store has listed the Batman: Arkham Knight release date for February 24, 2015 for the Xbox One and the PC.
Rocksteady previously announced that the Batman: Arkham Knight's release date was pushed back on 2015.
"Now Batman: Arkham Knight is totally awesome," Rocksteady's Dax Ginn said. "The thing about awesome, though, is awesome takes time. And totally awesome takes a lot of time. So in collaboration with our colleagues at Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment and DC Comics, we have decided to extend the development time of Batman: Arkham Knight."
"The very simple reason for doing this is to ensure we are delivering the awesome level of quality that Batman fans and gamers expect from this, the final episode and the epic conclusion to the Rocksteady Arkham trilogy."
Although it is not yet confirmed if this is the official released date of Arkham Knight, MotoringCrunch claimed that Arkham Knight was supposed to be released on January rather than February according to an interview with Batman voice-actor Kevin Conroy.
"It was supposed to come out in January, we've been working on it for a year and a half, it's still not done. So it's gonna come out next January."
Meanwhile, three DC characters are hinted to join the game.
MotoringCrunch reported that Green Arrow will make an appearance in Arkham Knight, and he will be voiced by Arrow TV series star Stephen Amell.
