"Heart Attack" singer Demi Lovato scrapped her long wavy hair and opted for a purple dreadlocks look in her latest Instagram selfie. The Gloss said she looks like her icon "Twilight" actress Kristen Stewart in her new style.

The 21-year-old "Heart Attack" singer captioned her Demi Lovato Instagram selfie, "Diamondz and dreaaaddzz," as she revealed her latest purple and silver ombré. Her long locks were shaved in the sides that made her rocker chic image even more apparent.

In the photo seen Demi Lovato's Instagram and Twitter accounts, the "Heart Attack" singer posted her new look as she also rocked an oversized sunglasses and accessories.

Her right finger was designed with a big cross-detailed ring while her neck was embellished with chain necklaces.

She had the rest of her long hair into a set of dreadlocks but Hollywood Life said they are not permanent.

"I do this often...as you've heard I'm Bipolar. So I change my hair a lot," the "Heart Attack" singer once told to host Ellen DeGeneres, Life & Style magazine said.

She even added that she has tried an array of hairstyle and colors from "black, brunette, red, like orangey red, pink, and blue" depending on her mood.

"Now she's debuted a cool new set of dreadlocks, and she looks as badass as her favorite style icon Kristen Stewart," The Gloss meanwhile added.

The "Skyscraper" singer's first appearance sporting her lavender and silver ombre hair was at the My Big Night Out music event in Hollywood Bowl last week.

She paired her new hairstyle with purple painted nails and a lavender plaid-sleeved top.

The Gloss also noted that the Demi Lovato's Instagram account was becoming a gallery of hair styles that changes from time to time.

"Demi Lovato's Instagram account is turning into better hair inspiration fodder than even Tumblr or Pinterest," it reported.
