Actor Jo In Sung has flown to Okinawa to resume filming "It's Okay, It's Love." Despite the injuries sustained by his co-star Gong Hyo Jin in a car accident on June 19, she will also soon be joining him to Japan.

The drama's filming schedule was delayed by a few days so that she could recuperate from her injuries but there was no way to reschedule filming at the Japanese location. Not only was the location booked ahead of time, is important to the plot. When the characters played by Gong and Jo visit the location it serves as a turning point in their relationship.

According to Gong Hyo Jin's agency, Soop Entertainment, "The location of the filming was planned long before so it is impossible to push it back, but due to Gong Hyo Jin's injury the script may be modified. Gong Hyo Jin is currently focusing on resting so she can recover quickly."

Gong Hyo Jin had surgery for her fractured arm and will fly to Japan on June 25th.

In "It's Okay, It's Love," Gong Hyo Jin plays a psychiatrist who falls in love with a neurotic novelist, played by Jo In Sung, and helps him deal with his problems. Given her real-life injury, the script might have to be altered so her character is also injured.

Gong Hyo Jin wanted to appear in the drama because of her trust in the writer Noh Hee Kyung, who wrote the first drama she ever appeared in. That drama was the 2001 drama "Good Old Days."

Since then Gong Hyo Jin has become known as the "queen of rom com" for her appearance in dramas such as "Pasta," "The Greatest Love" and "The Master's Sun."

Even though the filming was delayed, the drama's producers will have more flexibility than most. Most k-dramas are filmed on a very tight schedule so even a delay of a few days can create problems with air time. But the producers of "It's Okay, It's Love," planned to do some of the filming in advance.

"Contrary to the popular practice in the Korean drama industry, quite a lot of scenes for the new drama will be filmed prior to the airing in July," Gong told the JoongAng Daily. "That will certainly give the actors time to interpret the characters more extensively. Also, the production team will be able to come up with a higher quality drama."

Given the days that Gong Hyo Jin needed to recover from her accident, thismay also give them a little leeway with the filming schedule.

"It's Okay, It's Love" also stars Lee Kwang Soo and Do Kyung Soo, also known as D.O. from the band EXO.
