James Franco and Seth Rogen seem to have gotten themselves into dangerous international waters.

The two actors' upcoming comedy, "The Interview," has been criticized by North Korea, according to the L.A. Times on June 23.

"The Interview" reportedly tells the story of a talk-show host and his producer who get the opportunity to interview with the autocrat, who will be played by Randall Park. The two men are asked by the CIA to use the opportunity to kill the North Korean dictator.

Kim Myong Chol, executive director of the Centre of North Korea-U.S. Peace and an unofficial spokesman for the North Korean regime, clearly isn't happy about the premise.

"A film about the assassination of a foreign leader mirrors what the U.S. has done in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and Ukraine. And let us not forget who killed [President John F.] Kennedy - Americans," stated Kim.

He added, "In fact, President [Barack] Obama should be careful in case the U.S. military wants to kill him as well."

Kim Jong Un is believed to be a fan of Western Movies. Kim Myong Chol stated that despite the subject matter of "The Interview," the North Korean leader would probably watch the movie.

"Apparently Kim Jung Un plans on watching #TheInterview. I hope he likes it," tweeted Rogen, according to MTV.
