While Colombia is already guaranteed a slot in the Knockout Round of 16, Jose Pekerman, team coach, thought of the situation as a free pass for his new players, who are itching to get out of the bench.

News forecasted that Pekerman will let team captain Mario Yepes to rest for the game, as well as the spectacular winger, Juan Cuadrado.

The newcomers for Colombia are reportedly expected to be lined up this way: Jackson Martinez, Porto striker, will fight side by side with Sevilla's Carlos Bacca. Also, there is a possibility of the early appearance of Fredy Guarin, Juventus midfieler in the game.

On the other hand, Japan has neither been impressive nor disappointing in their games, but they desperately needed this win. (And also a loss from Greece.)
